Scott Disick went from test drive to hitting the streets with a new BMW i8 in Calabasas, California, on Thursday night.

The 33-year-old reality star proved he has good - and expensive taste - with Scott picking himself out an electric blue version of the German brand's sporty hybrid.

Obviously The Lord was never going to pick himself out a Prius, so his move into the world of more green vehicles meant that his new car was not going to have Prius price tag either.

The gullwing sports car starts at over $140,000 and Scott's seemed to have all the bells and whistles so was likely worth a lot more.

However, it is unlikely the star actually bought the car outright as Scott and the Kardashians are usually blessed with loaner cars or, at the very least, leased luxury vehicles.

Scott does own some of his vehicles and even just finished having his Mercedes-AMG GT S souped up.

While already able to reach 0-60 in 3 seconds, Scott's new car sounds like it is capable of going at faster in a specially made video profiling the car by the company behind the modifications, Vivid Racing.

Taking the car out for a spin, it was clear Scott was really loving the i8 but will need to get used to getting in and out.

It may not be the car's low profile that is to blame for his struggles, it may have been his tight jeans that were giving him trouble.
