CONNECTTWEETLINKEDINCOMMENTEMAILMOREBob Parsons' business empire continues to grow: His second GO AZ motorcycle dealership opened this past weekend in Peoria.
The 15,000-square-foot site, on the southeast corner of Bell Road and Loop 101, sells BMW, Ducati and Triumph brands among others.
The building contains two levels of showroom space, retail areas, coffee shop, performance stage, customer lounge and premium service department. A second phase, slated to open in early 2016, will expand the service area by an additional 10,000 square feet.
Parsons, one of Arizona's wealthiest residents and best known for being GoDaddy's founder, is part of the Powersports division of his Scottsdale-based entrepreneurship company, YAM Worldwide. The division also includes the GO AZ Scottsdale location, Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Spooky Fast Customs, Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Mississippi and Graceland Harley-Davidson in Tennessee.
Founded in 2008, GO AZ has experienced rapid growth and success in the past seven years, according to a company statement. The dealership has been named the No. 1 power-sports dealer in North America by PowerSports Business for the past two years.
