[11] Bmw Moa Making Annually Topic

GARDNERVILLE, Nev., June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MotoChello, Inc. now offers a CB adapter for its MC-100 integrated motorcycle stereo and communication system. With the adapter, Honda® Gold Wing® riders can use their existing CB radio through the MotoChello system.  The adapter is a response to Wing owners who wanted to upgrade their bike's current audio by replacing it with a MotoChello system, but still wished to use the CB radio previously installed on the Gold Wing to connect with their groups. The new adapter allows them to choose whether to use the Gold Wing's CB radio or connect a different two-way radio to the dedicated port on the MC-100 system.

Customizable interfaces for VHF and UHF radio sets are currently in development with expected availability end summer 2013.

About the System

The MC-100 is the first motorcycle audio system that functions like a home stereo and produces music quality equivalent to sitting at home with a pair of headphones. The MotoChello system (like a stereo receiver) produces an incredible sound quality not found with other cycle systems. Adjustments for bass, treble, loudness, and fade controls (left/right speakers or rider/passenger volume) are unique. A built-in FM/Weather Band radio has familiar search, seek and save functions reminiscent of car stereos.

Multiple devices operate at the same time so riders hear GPS instructions and voice messages while listening to music. All functions are accessible at the handlebars (another first), with a touch screen display that does not require special gloves. Riders can adjust how the system looks, sounds and operates and save settings to restore to them later.

Clear, hands-free intercom is always available and is full duplex, meaning a rider and passenger can have natural conversations and even speak at the same time, in a normal voice, by simply talking. A two-way radio interface handles bike-to-bike communications.

MotoChello systems use a single cable to connect riders. Since music quality and ease of intercom are the foremost features of the MC-100, current wireless technology was not an option for them.

About MotoChello

The MC-100 system was developed by a multi-patented engineer at with a background in audio and theater systems and a long-time rider, himself. Frustrated with available offerings, he says it is time for a motorcycle system that provides great music and functions more like a car stereo with added intercom and communication functions. So he put his expertise to work and designed the ultimate system he wanted for himself. When his riding friends heard it, they wanted one too. One thing led to another and MotoChello was born. He says he enjoys watching the reactions of people when they hear the system for the first time.

MotoChello will demo the system at the BMW-MOA International Rally in Salem, Oregon on July 18-21, 2013.
